On March 8th, 1975, the United Nation started to celebrate the International Women’s Day. In China, the women’s day also called “March 8th”day. Why we celebrate women’s day? There is a long story.

On March 8th, 1909, the Women’s Union of Chicago demonstrated against the inequality between men and women. They even put forward a slogan: Bread and Rose, which stood for equal payment and a better living standard. This demonstrated had caused international attention to the women’s rights. A year later, a critical meeting was held in Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. Then March 8th, 1911 just became the first Women’s day.

从三年级开始，我就在向《三国演义》的文言文版发起挑战。为什么呢？原因是从妈妈突然蹦出来的一个想法开始的。我的故事就从那时开始的。

三年级的一天午时，我和妈妈回到家，我赫然发现沙发上多了三本包装得异常精美，但却散发着浓浓的古香的书。我走过去一看，原先是《三国演义》的原着，翻开一看，我愣住了，因为里面都是古文！我一点都看不懂！九年以来，这还是第一次一本书放在眼前，我却看不懂。我的头快被这些令人费解的古文字挤得要溢出来了。我急忙把书和上，不禁埋怨妈妈为什么要给我买文言文版的书，这对一个三年级的学生来说还很遥远啊！妈妈回答道：“此刻我给你买这些书，你确实还很难看懂，但你能够试着去看一下，如果看得懂，是对以后高年级的学习有很多帮忙的，看不懂也不用着急，你能够先借爷爷的连环画来看，等到你看完连环画再来看原着，那时你就比较容易理解了。”我勉强答应了。

当天晚上，爸爸就把爷爷的连环画借来了，我立刻把那本连环画拿来看，刚看了第一页就被迷住了，之后就魂不守舍地盯着那本书看，从晚上7点到11点，才看了三分之一，但妈妈已经催促我去睡觉了，我只好回房间。我趁妈妈没注意，把连环画带进房间。第二天早上6点钟我就醒了，偷偷在房间里继续看这本书……。那时候正赶上暑假，我只用了三天就看完了连环画，之后就开始攻读原著，但因为原著里的古文实在太难理解了，就第一回“刘关张桃园三结义，斩敌将英雄首立功“我看了不下二十次，才稍微理解了它的意思。之后我又向第二回发起进攻，没想到只看了五次就看懂了，我得意忘形，但也没忘了继续把后面的资料读下去……。

书是我生活中必不可少的好朋友，我在书的海洋里漫游，从中得到了莫大的欢乐，使我的知识更丰富。

Children's day is on the first day of June. On that day, every child will celebrate it in their ways.
