With thewidespread development of city, more and more people have high desire to livein the city rather than stay at the village. Gradually, a great many cities areexperiencing difficulties which are nothing new change in the history of citiesexcept in their scale. Some cities have lost their origin purpose and not founda new one. Have you ever considered the changes that are taking place and willtake place in your city? Should we move to the city?

For one thing, a large or rich city is goingto attract immigrants who want their children require advanced education whichis the best choice. There are surrounded by the best equipment and teacher. What’smore important is the atmosphere. In the city, you can know much more thanbefore.

For anotherthing, in order to follow the step of city, we may pursue the money blindly.Under this pressure our way of lifestyle of city, even our bodies, becomeradically changed. We will go through an identity crisis and endeavor to findout who we are and what our strengths and weakness are. Because we lake of goodeducation in former days, we may lose the sense of balance.

Weighing upthese two arguments, I don’t know which answer is the best. Maybe it depends onyour family and their needs. Although more and more people in China no longerstay at village, I still hope the reality of life in the city is sweet. Thecherished ideal of home has great importance for many people.

We Do Need English

Recently, Beijing Education Department hasannounced that the full mark of English in the college entrance examination in2016 will be 100 points, which has dropped 50 points from previous years. Whilethe Chinese will be 180 points, the mathematics remains the same, still 150points. After the news has been exploded, this policy has caused greatattention among the public. Some people even wonder: do we still need Englishas before? And the status of English still remains the same in China? Well, asfar as I am concern, English still an indispensable part of our daily lives.

Firstly, English language is of crucialimportant in international cooperation and exchange. In this competitive world,no country can survive without any other contact with other countries. Andthroughout all the interactions, English, as a global language, is the bridgefor us to communicate with other people who from different culture, differentcountries. Two thirds of the world trade is conducted in English. In order toperform our duties and enjoy our rights as a significant member of WTO, we doneed English by all means.

Secondly, English is compulsory inelementary, secondary and further education. One has to pass the English teststo get his certifications. Although we don’t need English so much in our dailylives, when we turn on the computer, listen to the radio, we may findEnglish is everywhere. So, it’s quite necessary for all of us to master aforeign language. Even in the developed countries, students are required tolearn at least one foreign language. And learning English makes contributions toone’s development to some extent.

Although the English marks of collegeentrance examination will drop to 100, we still need English in our dailylives. With the rapid development of economic and cultural globalization, learning English is still the tendency for the young generations. It’s not onlythe tool for people to communicate, but also the golden key to get personaldevelopment.

Should We Put A Limit on Private Cars?(收藏)

With the rapiddevelopment of Chinese economic and the improvement of living standards ofordinary people, more and more private cars are on road. Some people thinkprivate cars can bring great convenience to the owners while others argue thatgovernment should put a limit on private cars. In my humble opinion, we shouldput a limit on private cars.

First of all, themore private cars, the more traffic jams. If people stuck on a traffic jam, itwill cost them a lot of time, some people even late for work. What’s more, nowadays finding a parking spot is much harder than before because there aretoo many cars on streets. Sometimes you just arrive at the destination, but youjust cannot find a place to park your car. The place is so crowded that youhave to park in other place which may be far away from your destination.

Secondly, theprice of gasoline and repairs are constantly rising, not to mention the pricesfor the insurance and the fear of being stolen. If you do not make enoughmoney, you can barely pay for the fees of the cars. This can cause great burdento your daily life.

Last but notleast, the cars produce tens of thousands of carbon dioxide, which will creategreenhouse effect and other serious environmental pollution. Someenvironmentalists predict that in the next few years, the ozone layer willfully disappear and will increase the rate of getting skin cancer. And the airwe breathe in is not as pure as before, do we really need to sacrifice ourfuture to enjoy the so called convenience?

Due to thesereason, I think people should think twice before they buy a private car. Weshould not only consider the increasing cost of owning a car, but also shouldthink about the future we have. It’s not only a personal thing, but also thewhole country, the whole world.

Should We Ban Internet Slang in News and Formal Documents?(收藏)

The Internet has become an indispensable part of our daily life as we step into the new century. The Network language is also very popular in our daily communication. The terms such as “ren jian bu chai” for “life is hard, don’t hurt me with the truth”, “dinosaurs” for ugly women, “gelivable” for awesome, “Beverly Hillbillies” for rich men, can be seen in the newspaper or official documents. Some people think such kind of words will pollute our traditional language, while the other say these terms can enrich our language. We can use it as long as it can be understood by ordinary people. There is no need to ban them. In my humble opinion, we can use these Internet slang terms, but take the essence and discard the dross.

Some people are worried about that the network languages will have bad influenced on the young people, especially they are in the critical period of learning knowledge and forming their values and temperament. It’s true that some of the Internet slang consists of sexually-suggestive, violence and other unhealthy contents. The young people may easily get influenced by those negative factors. And it do harm the healthy development of language and cultural.

Each coin has two sides. The network language is no exception. As an open and free language, the Internet slang has the characteristics of interesting, brevity and newness. It reflects the modern language tendency and social values. There are countless words are created in every single day. These terms help our language to become better and richer. As for some not so good ones, they will be dropped out naturally. The fittest will survive. So we just don’t need to worry too much about the future of Internet slang.

To sum up, I think we should take a calm, objective view of network language. The good ones can stand the test of time, and be accepted by the people. As to the bad ones, they will be forgotten by the history, aren’t they?

Should we pay our parents for their babysitting?【推荐】

It seems so normal that parents will take care of their children’s children in China. We can see a large crowd of grandparents standing in front of kindergarten to pick up their grandchildren. It seems that taking care of grandchildren has become grandparents’ obligation. They should do it for free. However, now this concept has changed, some people said that parents should get the payment for their babysitting, because they are old and babysitting is a heavy work; while others think that parents should do it for free. In my point of view, I agree with the former one.

In the first place, parents’ duty and obligation is to raising their children until they have reached an adult age, but not still raising their children’s children. There is no doubt that raising a kid to adult is a difficult thing. It requires a lot of love and money. In China, most parents give the child university tuition and living expenses. They want their kid could focus on learning. Some parents even spend money for their child to find a good job which is secure. Our parents had already done so many things for us without any return. It would be a shame to ask parents to look after our children for free in their age.

In the second place, someone argue that the days are tougher than before, we should not give extra pressure to young couples. It is true that the competition is fierce than before, but think about it, parents must had been through a more difficult period to raising a child in the old age, for every conditions of life are in a low level. They give their best for their children, and when they are old, they still do the same thing for their grandchild. I think it is reasonable to pay them back.

To sum up, parents deserve better in later life, even most parents are volunteer to do babysitting, young people should show some responds, they could pay them back with money, if it will increase the economic burden, then they could share the babysitting with them and love them more.

Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern, we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things. There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall, delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result, traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out. What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of living in city.

Should We Give Beggar Money?(收藏)

In a big city, we can always saw some beggars on the said of a busy street. Most of them are disabled. People who are compassionate will stop and give them some money, while some people just walk through. Those people who didn’t give beggar money doesn’t mean they are a cold blood man, because they know there beggars are organized, help them will encourages crime. As far as I’m concerned, I think we shouldn’t give beggar money, I have several reasons to support my opinion.

First, almost all of the disabled beggars are organized; some bad people use them to make money. Those beggars were a normal people before the bad people cut off their arms or legs and keep them in captivity for years. They are more preferring little kids, because they can make the way they want, and they won’t call the police, armless, legless, and no eyeless. Many people are utter sympathy for those disable kids, those kids will make them a big fortune. If we give money to them, more innocent people will be bad guy’s target, they will kidnap more kids, cripple them, and make them a read resource of money.

Second, even though the bagger will be violently doze if they don’t beg enough money a day, there is nothing we can do, but let the government to deal with it. The government should made a policy against this professional beggar market, sanctions against the bad guys. Help those poor beggars out of the living hell. Passenger’s power is minimal; to the contrary, this will have reverse effects. There is no doubt that disabled beggars are miserable, but we should help them in the right way.

To sum up, we shouldn’t give money to beggars, give money could be a harmful to them, and make more innocent people become a potential beggar; just let the government and hospice do the job what should they do.

Should We all Need to Get Married?

In the traditional view that everyone’s life is the same. After they were born in the world, they need to grow up, go to school, get a job, get married, have babies and then grow old. Most people always obey the regular until the third step. Nowadays, more and more people are not in the relationship of marriage when their age should be. Then they will be criticized of single. Should we really need to get married when we are at that age? I don’t think so. The reasons are as follow.

On the one hand, marriage is a long life thing, and everyone has the right to choose the one they believe that they are willing to accompany forever. Every combination should on the foundation of happiness. Before they find the one, they don’t need to find a whatever to build a family. After all, choosing a wrong person won’t be happy. It is no need to do it.

On the other hand, as the purpose of marriage is to seek happiness, no one can say that single is not happy for sure. If a person is happy as they are single, there is no reason for them to head in an unsure relationship. In addition, being single for the whole life is not so bad, and it can be happy, too.

As far as I am concerned, happiness is the most important, not marriage. Everyone should make their decision depends on their own situation.
