From an early age I’ve always been deeply interested in computing. It was my dad, introducing me to the computer systems at his work place that first sparked this interest. I can always remember the feeling of wanting to know just how computers worked, why they worked and what else they could do.

This interest never left me, only growing more profound and passionate with every new discovery I made. From communicating with an artificial intelligence to seeing the wonders of the Internet for the first time, computers have left me fascinated with just how much power yet mystery they hold.

The A-Levels I chose to study have all helped me to develop both myself and my understanding of the subject. Physics for example has helped me to understand how certain parts of a computer function, while Computing has given me a greater insight into the business aspects of the computer industry.

Chemistry and Physics have both helped to improve my analytical and evaluative skills. Within maths I have been lucky enough to have a teacher who was very interested in computer science. He has been especially helpful, lending me books such as G?del, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid. This has given me an insight into the richness that is computer science.

My interest in computing has not been restricted to the classroom and college life. Within the last twelve months I’ve used the knowledge that I’ve gained over the past twelve years together with the help of my family to set up my own computer related business. This has given me a totally new perspective on how certain things function, and how business operates. The writing of a business plan was a totally alien experience for me, but over the course of 9 months I researched and planned, and finally when the plan was complete I was rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing that I had completed something that most people would never have the chance to do especially at my age.

Through the setting up of the company and its subsequent running I have learnt many things. These include how to balance tasks effectively, how critical teamwork can be and how to delegate tasks to get the job done quickly and efficiently.

As well as spending time both studying and helping to run the business I understand the importance of having time to relax. One of my hobbies that I try to make time for is learning to fly, and gaining my private pilots license. As a child I dreamed of becoming a pilot and luckily its one dream that I’ve managed to follow. I love the freedom that flying gives you and the control that you have when in the air. Training for my private pilots license (PPL) has also involved me taking onboard a lot of responsibility for the safety of those onboard, and those around the aircraft. From ensuring that I carry out the pre-flight checks correctly, and knowing what’s around you both while you’re on the ground and in the air to ensuring that I’m prepared for any eventuality.

I also enjoy both playing and watching tennis. I’ve played in various competitions before, and have helped to umpire junior matches at my club. To ensure that I can fit everything in I’ve had to develop very good time management, prioritising what I need to do efficiently.

I’m looking forward with great anticipation to the challenges that studying for a degree in computer science will bring.

一、公立大学

1.学术

要想入读政府设置的高校，必须要是国内一类本科高校毕业的学生，成功完成学业任务，顺利毕业，并且拿到正式的毕业证书，以及受认可的学历证明，来佐证申请者有足够的专业实力。

2.成绩

还需要提交本人在国内高校中，接受本科教育参加大型考试的成绩，要求各个科目的考试顺利通过没有挂科，并且确认平均成绩在80分以上，即GPA要有3.0分以上，热门专业需要3.5分。

3.语言

英语的能力也需要达标，这里以直接入学的标准为参考，大家需要在雅思的考试中，拿到6.5分以上的成绩，这样才有保证，能够顺利的跟得上学校专业授课的进度。

4.其他

学校会为学生提供奖学金，但是只有选修研究型学位的学生，才有资格提出正式的申请，应用型的硕士能够申请的项目会少很多，这是对部分学生的奖励;商科类专业申请要求提交GMAT成绩，工科要准备GRE成绩。

二、私立大学

1.学术

可以递交正式申请的学生，除了完成本科授课的毕业生，还有完成大专专科学习的毕业生，只要能够提供符合要求的阶段性学习证明的学生，都有申请的资格。

2.成绩

能力的要求不会都很高，除了部分热门院校和专业，大家申请其他的目标，基本上只需要准备好70分以上的平均成绩就可以了，当然GPA分数越高，会对大家的申请越有利，要努力的提升自己。

3.语言

同样语言水平也是会有相应的调低，大家确认了目标的要求之后，进行提升的学习，目前大部分的私立大学，对学生的雅思分数要求都是6.0-6.5分。

4.其他

如果大家有专升硕的需求的话，建议提交私立大学的申请会更合适一些，只需要完成专科的学习，并且提交IELTS6.5分的成绩就可以确认自己的入学资格。

硕士留学新加坡条件和费用解读

一、申请前准备费用

1.考试费用

雅思考试3次=20xxx3=6060RMB

GMAT考试两次=1750x2=3500RMB

去考场来回打车费用=50x3=150RMB

(雅思考试时间很早，家离考场近或者可以早起的小伙伴可以忽略不计)

2.文书费用+前期咨询费用

4.学校网申费用

这个视项目要求而定，南阳理工大学除了商学院的申请费都在114RMB左右，商学院项目在500RMB，新国立申请费在250RMB左右，新加坡管理大学申请费在500RMB左右

5.材料寄送费

尽管大部分项目的材料递交都是透过网申系统直接递交，但是部分项目，例如NUS的应用经济学，NTU的管理经济学，应用经济学，还是需要在网申之后寄送纸质材料，顺丰寄送即可，费用在70RMB左右(从上海出发到新加坡寄比较慢的那种快递)，大概一周材料可以寄达。

二、留学费用

1、新加坡公立大学读研究生费用

新加坡公立大学 ， 硕土学费约为 30000 元新币 / 年 ， 约合人民币 150000 元。 不过 ， 新加坡公立大学对外国学生开放助学金政策 ， 即给予近 50% 的补助 ， 这样一来每年新加坡硕士留学费用约为 9000 元人民币。 但是必须在毕业后在新加坡本地工作三年。即如果读完两年的硕士课程 ， 至少要花 18 万人民币。

2 、新加坡私立大学读研究生费用

新加坡私立大学硕士学制通常为一年至一年半。硕士学费约为 20000-30000 元新币 / 年 ， 约合人民币 100000-150000 元。

三、留学条件

1、GPA

新加坡的公立大学比较看重申请者的本科学校背景，几乎每个学校的每个专业都会要求“ At least a good relevant bachelor's degree”。对于GPA的要求，不管是新加坡国立大学还是南洋理工大学，每个专业对GPA都有自己的要求。比如新加坡国立大学的环境类专业授课型硕士要求GPA不低于3.0，折算成百分制差不多是75。对研究型硕士要求80以上。有些学校或专业虽然没有明确给出要求，但根据往年其录取的学生分数，要想申请公立的大学，对于我们国内211/985高校的学生，GPA一般要求在80以上，对于双非学校的学生，一般要在85以上。私立大学一般要求GPA在75以上。

2、托福或雅思、GRE

根据往年其录取的学生分数，公立大学硕士申请要求雅思成绩在6.5-7.0分左右，托福95以上，部分专业需要GRE，商科专业一般需要2年及以上的工作经验。私立大学硕士申请要求低一些，雅思6.0-6.5分左右或者通过学校英文测试。但每个大学或专业都有自己的要求，比如新加坡南洋理工大学的电子工程专业要求雅思不低于了6.5，托福的话，笔考不低于600，机考不低于250，网考不低于100。新加坡国立大学的建筑与环境工程系要求托福不低于580-600，网考不低于85。雅思的话，要在7分以上。GRE的语文和数学部分均不低于320，写作不低于3.5。但是要强调的是通常你的托福、雅思和GRE等分数有年限要求，比如新加坡南洋理工大学的电子工程专业要求必须是最近两年内获得的。新加坡国立大学的建筑与环境工程系要求GRE必须是5年内获得的。

提醒大家公立大学不接受专科生申请，部分私立大学接受专科生。总体来说私立大学对你的经济支撑条件更看重一些。

3、其他材料

除了以上硬性条件要求，需要提供的材料中最重要的是研究计划、推荐人参考，简历(CV/Resume)，个人陈述和作品集，但以上材料不是所有学校和专业都要提供的，要根据学校和专业来定，比如南洋理工大学工程学院开设的专业都要求提供简历、研究计划等。

四、申请时间

新加坡的硕士项目没有统一的考试时间，一般每年有两次入学机会，比如新加坡国立大学和南洋理工大学是每年的1月和8月入学，新加坡管理大学是每年的1月和7月入学，各私立大学有自己的入学时间，一般是滚动式录取。但申请时间一般是入学前2-4个月。

加拿大研究生留学需要具备哪些条件

1、必须具有学士学位。

一般来说，加拿大大学的研究生院要求申请者具有正规大学四年制本科学士学位，或至少已读完大四第1学期，并提供能在当年取得毕业证书及学位证书的证明。另外，对于许多“专升本”“自考”的学生，申请加拿大研究生是比较困难的，但是这也不会排除一些例外情况。

2、拥有语言成绩

5、选择和本科阶段一致的专业课程。

申请加拿大的硕士专业一般需要申请人具有相关本科背景，也就是说对于有学士学位的加拿大留学申请人来说，不是什么硕士专业都可以申请的，除了工商管理硕士(MBA)外，几乎所有的加拿大硕士专业均要求申请人是同一本科专业毕业。而且，对于一些特殊专业，即使申请人具有本科专业背景，也不一定被录取，如法律、会计、医学等。

6、写出一份能够反映自我的文书。

The media's writing style today is owed to the 'New Journalists' of the 1960's and 1970's who transformed the approach towards Journalism. I am making this application as I am fascinated by the vast scope which is covered by the subject and how in today's society the media plays a major role in every subject imaginable and affects everybody's life in some way. After completing this course I hope to enter into Print or Broadcast Journalism and eventually I would like to have the prospect of working in both of these forms of media. I have a particular interest in magazines and Foreign Affairs and I am inspired by the work of John Simpson, who has maintained his position of World Affairs Editor at BBC News for over twenty years.

For my A-levels I chose to study English Literature, Theatre Studies and French, because these courses have allowed me to develop both my written skills and structuring the writing style that is so varied for each subject. In English Literature we studied the era in which 'New Journalism' was introducing itself into society by such Journalists as Tom Wolfe and Gay Talese. Their 'unconventional' works were published in magazines rather than newspapers, due to the response from the editors who favoured the more 'traditional' journalists of the time. Theatre Studies has required me to devise and interpret plays which has enhanced my confidence, improvisation and time management skills, as well as building on theory and historical context. When studying French we take a view on current affairs from around the world today. We learn how to debate and compose various pieces of written work documenting both our own opinions and taking a neutral view. French A-level has also strengthened my skills to successfully learn a language with its grammar, vocabulary and culture.

I have recently been on a five day work placement with my local paper. It was a great experience where I gained the insight into the daily life of a journalist and I was able to write articles which required piecing together through photojournalism and interviews in order to produce the finished article. It also provided me with the practice to prepare me for both University and my future career. I have written articles for my school newspaper and hope to write more in the future. Throughout my life I have developed a particular interest in acting and the surrounding effects upon society that it creates. In 20xx, I received a part as an extra in a period film directed by Julian Fellowes, recently previewed at The London Film Festival. 和西澳相对应的，这里的基础资源不多也不丰富，因此城市的发展中心在文化、教育和医疗方面，社会的便利程度高而且舒适，是非常宜居的城市，这里有八大之一的阿大，还有南澳大。

学校的阶段收费区别不大，基本都在2.7-4万元之间，和其他几个州相比会稍贵一些，而生活开销一年准备1.3-1.6万元就基本足够了，这里的物价还是比较亲民的。

四、塔斯马里亚州

如果大家想要享受更加正宗的澳洲真实生活，可以去塔州，相对独立的环境，能够更好的感受生活，而且这里的物价开销也会低上不少，一年的留学生活，准备1-1.4万澳币足够了。

而大家在这里也可以选择他大和塔理工，同样是很优秀的学校，每年的学费只需要2.8-3万澳币就可满足需求。
